District Office/HR

The employees of the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Schools are the district’s most important resource for providing students with a high quality educational system.

Records regarding staff employment such as transfers, leaves, promotions, tenure and retirement are maintained by the Human Resources department. The department administers employee benefit programs.

The office uses the Employee Resource Management System (ERMA) giving employees access to request timeoff, pay information and to monitor their personnel information.

Employee compensation matters, including determining appropriate salary levels, determining changes in salaries and processing all adjustments, are directed by the Human Resources department. The office also administers all contracts.

The office is also responsible for administering the worker’s compensation program and maintaining and ensuring compliance with all state and federal employment laws.
